What does a Sales Representative do? Here at Best Buy, we pride ourselves on thinking about what's possible. Our sales representatives must be able to build relationships, listen to customers needs, search through resources and product selections, and multi-task to enable an exceptional customer experience through sales advice and guidance. It is also essential that our sales representatives can express their personality and excitement for the brand in a positive manner.
Sales representatives will be responsible to build and show sales and service proficiency for basic sales contacts before taking on additional sales contact types. Training, tools and systems will be in place to support and assist the representative in the sales process.
In addition, the sales representative will:
Apply training and use provided systems to build and show proficiency in your selling skills and product knowledge to provide impartial, knowledgeable advice in recommending products and service solutions, ensuring the customers end-to-end needs are met which includes proactively offering products, accessories and services.
Support universal contacts and support customers with other non-sales needs
Build sales, product and process proficiency and knowledge using available resources
Meet productivity, quality and sales goals consistently
Selling and delivering an outstanding customer experience
6 or more months of customer service experience required
6 or more months of sales, call center or retail experience required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to multi-task
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
