Senior Endowment/ Investment Accountant Boston College Introduction

The Senior Endowment/Investment Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager, Endowment/Restricted Funds and manages the accounting of both the investments and the charitable gifts for planned giving and life income funds of the endowment, including annuity contracts, life income trust agreements, and insurance policies. The position also prepares the monthly reconciliations between advisors and custodian banks, as well as bank and system reconciliations, quarterly and year-end investment schedules in support of financial statement data; and prepares and/or oversees preparation of asset class presentation for investment funds on the University's Financial Statements.
Hiring Range: $67,700 - $84,650; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting; 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience including experience with non-profit institutional accounting and/or investment accounting, knowledge of planned giving vehicles, charitable giving, etc. An advanced degree or CPA is preferred.
