DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Provides administrative support within the Financial
Solutions Department, with priority to the application of cash receipts,
credit notes and other offsets.
Process customer cash,
adjustments, charge backs and credit memos within accounts receivable
Process credit card
Coordinate with credit
staff and other departments regarding A/R issues and payment application,
charge backs and write-offs
Process consumer refunds,
tax adjustments and write-offs
Complete weekly and
monthly cash reconciliations
Research and process freight
Create and upload
proof of delivery documents on customer portals
Scan month-end documents,
including accounting reconciliations
and journal entries.
Assist members of the
credit team in their research of discrepancies and reconciliations
Provide support to Financial
Solutions leadership team
Work on special projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Basic accounting skills with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail, including general bookkeeping and reconciliation procedures
PC skills, including Excel, Access, and Word
Previous experience with Oracle EBS is preferred
AA degree or vocational training in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
