Account Receivable Administrator

  • Provides administrative support within the Financial Solutions Department, with priority to the application of cash receipts, credit notes and other offsets.
  • Process customer cash, adjustments, charge backs and credit memos within accounts receivable system
  • Process credit card payments
  • Coordinate with credit staff and other departments regarding A/R issues and payment application, charge backs and write-offs
  • Process consumer refunds, tax adjustments and write-offs
  • Complete weekly and monthly cash reconciliations
  • Research and process freight claim adjustments
  • Create and upload proof of delivery documents on customer portals
  • Scan month-end documents, including accounting reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist members of the credit team in their research of discrepancies and reconciliations
  • Provide support to Financial Solutions leadership team
  • Work on special projects as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Basic accounting
    skills with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail,
    including general bookkeeping and reconciliation procedures
  • PC skills, including
    Excel, Access, and Word
  • Previous experience
    with Oracle EBS is preferred
  • AA degree or
    vocational training in Accounting or equivalent combination of education
    and experience
