**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
+ **Leadership** - Serving as a member of Plant Management Leadership Team, you will be holding the department accountable for adherence to plant direction and establishing and ensuring achievement of all unit Key Performance Indicators while ensuring adherence to and continuous improvement for all area MCRS elements.
+ **Compliance** - You will be accountable for compliance with all regulations, including, but not limited to: Food safety for the plant and ensuring there are proper sanitary conditions at all times, and overseeing compliance with food safety policies and procedures and with employee safety policies and procedures.
+ **Planning** - You will be participating in the business planning and budgeting process by developing short and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies. Plan on executing projects within your assigned area by monitoring project plans and status to ensure completion. You will also ensure raw materials are converted into finished goods for assigned area/shift
+ **Continuous Improvement and Development** - A very important part of your responsibilities includes deploying and sustaining Lean Training and coaching and developing on the Kellogg Work Systems (KWS) model. You will be accountable for compliance with all Employee Safety, Food Safety and Sanitation policies and regulations. Use your leadership skills for managing and developing a team, including employee performance development, recognition, compatibility, and employee progression.
+ **Ownership** - You will be owning all the PDQCSM (Production, Delivery, Quality, Cost, Safety, and Morale) scorecard measures for the department and Safety, Morale, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), Capacity, and Cost. You will be accountable for SOL management and owning the department culture – safety, quality, and organizational.
**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**
+ High School Diploma/GED, along with significant managerial experience in a manufacturing setting
+ Experience with leading and applying LEAN principles in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience in successfully managing and leading teams
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
+ Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations
+ Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite
+ Collaborative work style, able to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall performance
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field
+ Experience with Autonomous Maintenance
+ Technical and Operations experience in process, bulk material delivery, and packaging
+ Experience managing in a union environment
+ Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
+ SAP experience
