The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Notre Dame Security Monitor On Call.

Do you want to connect with the University community and all guests coming to campus for events?
As a Security Monitor, you have the opportunity to welcome guests, faculty, staff and students to our campus. We are looking for more members to join our team at the Snite Museum, Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Main Building, Hesburgh Library and East/Main entrance gates to campus. Our Security Monitors observe, protect, patrol and enforce rules/regulations that insure the safety of items/facilities in which they serve.

    A typical day includes:
  • Screening vehicular traffic and monitoring visitors and patrons to the building you are assigned.

  • Greeting visitors with a high degree of customer service, giving directions and providing information to persons that approach the entrance or building.

  • Monitoring areas for safety.

  • Answering phones, doing paperwork and administrative duties.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Must have the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
    Must be able to apply problem solving techniques to complex issues.
    Basic computer skills knowledge.
    Mandatory training must be completed.
