The Assessment & Consulting Services business is currently seeking Health, Safety and Environmental professionals in support of a client in Sunnyvale, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to join CBRE on site at a client account and contribute to the success of their EHS program?

The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Global HSE Compliance Program by completing work streams to deliver various cross-functional HSE projects with a focus on training program strategy, design, and global implementation. The HSE Supervisor consults and communicates extensively with department leadership, stakeholders, participants, and online platform administrators. The HSE Supervisor serves in a consultative role to ensure online learning activities related to program certification, regulatory, and organizational initiatives are undertaken, documented, and retained. The HSE Supervisor must have a thorough understanding of HSE course content and build, assignments, report generation, application and training administration, as well as end-user support services.

Assist in Global HSE Compliance initiatives to include management systems and programs. 

Develop creative strategies to design, plan, and execute scalable HSE training in alignment with Global HSE programs. 

Drive strategic and analytical initiatives to improve internal training processes and global training delivery. 

Leads the administration and functional support of all domains in a learning management system and related portal technologies, including the coordination of annual compliance training. 

Maintains and monitors all areas of a learning management system portal to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of content prior to publishing to users while maintaining an up-to-date and relevant online course catalog.

Drive training development to completion by managing timelines, overseeing the instructional design process, and coordinating the delivery of training to internal partners.

Manages scheduling, course offerings, raining communications, and record keeping.

Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that interrupt learner use and tracking.

Participates in data gathering, data review and analysis, by running reports and demonstrating trends on dashboards to provide recommendations to management and key stakeholders to improve system operations and practices. 

Works with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient functionality.

Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of the systems.

Partners with Instructional Developers to structure and deploy learning activities (web-based training content, curriculums, learning plans, etc.).

Collaborates with stakeholders to execute, review and/or revise the learning content to meet regulatory, accreditation, or organizational needs.

Authors, deploys, and manages content in a learning management system, ensuring content and learning plans are up-to-date for all employees, along with supporting course owners in creating or updating course content as needed or due.

Ensures the quality of reporting data within a learning management system to provide accurate and timely completion/compliance status to meet regulatory audits.

Develops and maintains a course/curriculum naming convention, versioning and archiving system.

Provide support in troubleshooting, investigating and seeking solutions to complex issues related to course design, learning management system configuration, and infrastructure.

Researches and advises on third-party courses to determine best solution to fit the company's needs.

Provides quality assurance for all deliverables.

Develops and implements standardized metrics related to a learning management system application. 

Metrics will be tracked and reported to account employees on a monthly basis.

Acts as a resource to team and account employees as an HSE learning management system subject matter expert and establishes cross-functional partnerships with account departments and stakeholders to facilitate understanding of a learning management system application.

Promotes safety consciousness among team, partners, stakeholders, and account employees by providing accurate and informative data, participating in program awareness opportunities, giving timely feedback on program questions, and visibly supporting the overall HSE program(s).

Performs other duties as assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to team members. May coordinate and assign tasks to team members within a specific functional unit and/or project.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in HSE or a related field, from a four-year college or university preferred.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience. 

Experience in development and administration of training curriculum using a learning management system and/or e-learning authoring tools is preferred.

Experience managing projects and translating technical concepts into online learning narratives and instructor led curriculum is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential. 

Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred.
