Responsible for leadership of cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives. Examples might include, but are not limited to: finance / operational / executive management review coordination, process improvement and redesign, change management initiatives, ongoing oversight of a leadership / diversity / recognition / Q12 or general program oversight. Provides leadership in the integration /implementation of programs/services/initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary. Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
The Field Strategy, Communication & Execution team within Client Experience & Growth supports the department with developing, running and tracking its initiatives. The Field Strategy, Communication & Execution team is seeking an analyst to serve as a Business Initiatives Consultant.Â This position will report to the manager of CE&G Data and Reporting. Primary responsibilities include:
Collecting and analyzing initiative results and trends for use in reports/presentations for the operating committee, channel leadership and internal management.Â Ability to develop complex reports from various data points.Â Providing strong leadership with partners and peers, including guidance and support for team members within Client Experience & Growth.
Leveraging data sources from across the firm, including the Brokerage Data Warehouse (BDW), Salesforce, and other sources, to develop databases and process automation needed to support analytics efforts
Leveraging a variety of tools to conduct reporting and analysis efforts (Excel, MS Access, etc.)
Managing data integrity to ensure accuracy and confidence in reporting
Consulting with key business partners to identify trends and changes in the business environment and identify new levers which impact success
Effectively communicate analysis results and recommended actions through written reports and presentations to senior leaders
Creating and maintaining policy and procedure documentation as well as appropriate technical and user documentation
Creating and updating a suite of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Responsible for process improvements and redesigns related to teams reporting suite.
Will perform special projects as well as provide support to larger strategic initiatives directed by manager.
Partnering with Client Experience & Growth teams to ensure meets all reporting and data needs are met.
The Business Initiative Consultant will work with teams within Client Experience & Growth to help the teams create and deliver timely and impactful reporting. This reporting will include a combination of reports out to Client Experience & Growth leadership, to leaders within WFA and to other interested parties. In addition, the Consultant will be asked to perform ad hoc queries and analysis for Advisors and Managers within the Branch Network.
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
Project management experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
Good analytical skills including analyzing complex data
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Knowledge and understanding of SQL or SAS
Microsoft Excel experience designing and running macros
Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data
Ability to analyze quantitative or qualitative data
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Ability to produce high level summary analysis reports in a meaningful and understandable format
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
A BS/BA degree or higher
