Human Resources develops and implements our “team members, candidates, and operational” strategies to support Wells Fargo’s business objectives. This group manages compensation and benefits, human resource service centers, systems and payroll, team member relations and assistance, talent management, learning and development, and recruiting. Incentive Management Center of Excellence (IM COE) is responsible for effectively processing incentive plan results, ensuring calculations are correct, inquiries receive timely response, and on time payouts to payroll.  IM COE strengthens our governance and control standards around incentive payouts and our analytics capabilities to evaluate incentive plan performance and effectiveness.  We strive to provide strong support throughout the lifecycle of the plan year as well as transparency, simplification and equal treatment not only in the plans we support as well as to the entire Wells Fargo enterprise.

As a Business Support Consultant, your primary responsibility will be for the administration and support of incentive plans within Wells Fargo Equipment Finance. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Serve as an end to end incentive process lead, executing the incentive design process in partnership with Compensation and line of business (LOB) leadership
  • Day to day incentive plan management including incentive pay validation & calculations, plan reporting, modeling & analyses, system plan implementation (CRs, UAT), procedures & documentation and plan inquiries
  • Utilizes thorough knowledge of the incentive plan management to support strategic initiatives for the business
  • Presents to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements related to incentive management
  • Consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance and improvement opportunities for the applicable business functions. Such consultation includes discussion of alternatives and implications

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with variable and incentive compensation
  • Experience working with transaction-based incentive compensation plans
  • Incentive plan design, implementation, and governance experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking
  • Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding incentive compensation and risk management
