Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the companyâs financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the companyâs shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.
This opportunity is part of the Enterprise Portfolio Development (EPD) to enhance the ownership, organizational structure, standardization, and oversight of project management functions across the company. Significant change in how Wells Fargo governs, organizes, manages and executes projects is vital, not only to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our projects, but also to reduce our operational risk.
This role will report to Enterprise Project Management Tools and Automation (EPMTA) Product Management Leader and will conduct business analysis for major change initiatives and complex tools and automations within EMPTAâs purview. They will be accountable for defining the âwhyâ and âwhatâ of EMPTAâs tools and automations and for collaborating with Wells Fargo Technology. They will champion these tools and automations extensively across the enterprise. They will influence and collaborate extensively with the Group Portfolio Delivery (GPD) organizations, their EPMTA peers and other EPD leaders to create effectiveness and efficiencies for the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Soliciting requirements from cross-functional stakeholders
Providing in-depth consultation and guidance to achieve optimal analysis
Documenting business requirements, and recommending and influencing the use of appropriate solutions
Partnering closely with Wells Fargo IT to ensure effective design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of tools and automations
Working with peer organizations within EPMTA to ensure appropriate testing for tools and automations has occurred
Working with peer organizations within EPD to ensure accurate and comprehensive training for tools and automations is readily available
Ensuring tools and automations align with enterprise policies and objectives
Providing direction and guidance to less experienced staff
10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
5+ years of consultative business analysis experience
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Program and project management skills
4+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
3+ years of Agile experience
3+ years of JIRA experience
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: process improvements, continuous improvement, or LEAN
Strong strategic planning skills
Change management experience
Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
Financial industry experience
Experience translating and presenting information from project teams to end users
Other Desired Qualifications
2+ years of experience using project management tools such as Clarity
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
