This Business Liaison Manager 3 position serves as a contributor to the Third Party Control strategy for how risk is managed across Home Lending lines of business (LoB).Â This role is responsible for collaborating extensively with the Home Lending business teams and across risk platforms in order to effectively reduce or eliminate risk resulting from service provider engagements and relationships.Â A key aspect of the role is to identify inherent and emerging high-risk activities associated with third party service providers, effective reporting, escalation, and remediation of risk owned by the businesses.Â Role is also key in providing support to the Retail Fulfillment/Home Equity/Assumptions Teams on new vendor engagements to meet business needs.Â Provides strong oversight of vendor performance to ensure no negative impact to customers or team.Â Serves as Record Coordinator for the Retail FFMT/HE/Assumptions Teams.
The Business Liaison Manger 3 manages a team of liaisons to ensure successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations that are moderately complex and strategic. Manages problems and opportunities that typically arise within a single business group. Oversees operations impacting a single business group or manages a moderate portion of an organization. Provides guidance regarding strategy, operations, and financial management. Interacts frequently with senior and occasionally executive management to influence, optimize, and negotiate.

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business operations, implementation, or strategic planning
2+ years of management experience
Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale initiatives
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
Strong relationship management skills
Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution
Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives
Knowledge and understanding of underwriting or risk management
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
