Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Enterprise Shared Services (ESS), part of the COO group, provides strategic guidance and streamlined support to meet increasing demands facing Wells Fargo’s businesses. ESS provides a strong, scalable and more unified model to effectively deliver shared services to the enterprise. ESS is responsible for Enterprise Global Services (EGS) - Delivery, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, Operational Resiliency, ESS Governance, ESS Strategy, and Enterprise Location Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and evaluate performance improvement opportunities from a global workforce delivery
  • Engage executive and senior leaders, other stakeholders and support groups to develop and execute strategic plans that support designated business drivers
  • Serve as point of contact for different Enterprise Function leaders throughout development, execution of initiatives and steady state management
  • Provide senior level consulting expertise to internal business partners, in alignment with the Wells Fargo enterprise-wide business strategy
  • Track, and report on the status of global sourcing initiatives to Enterprise Function leaders and Relationship Manager Lead to ensure goals are being achieved
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of processes that assist with monitoring and reporting of global sourcing initiatives
  • Support development and review of service level agreements, statements of work and supporting contract documentation
  • Ensure appropriate governance is followed during global sourcing assessment phase and all global delivery activities are adherent to the Global Delivery Activity Policy
  • Evaluate and obtain approval of identified opportunities, requirements and coordination of related resources to drive successful implementation
  • Engage multiple LOB stakeholders and support groups to ensure processes are successfully assessed and approved
  • Partner with LOB and EGS stakeholders to monitor activities in Steady State
  • Act as an escalation point and single point of contact for the Line of Business partners throughout and after initiatives to ensure ongoing viability and efficiency


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of strategic planning experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to manage complex initiatives
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Work experience in Finance and/or COO
  • Global Delivery/Outsource experience with a large, multinational company
  • International operations experience
  • 2+ years International working experience
  • 5+ years direct experience guiding Corporate services (Risk, HR, Marketing, Finance) operations and/or analytics
  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • Management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
