Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Enterprise Project Management Solutions (EPMS) is part of the larger Enterprise Portfolio Delivery Office (EPD) within Enterprise Finance, which partners across the company to ensure strategic alignment between business objectives and projects executed, as well as to provide governance for the enterprise portfolio of projects in terms of delivery, culture, risk management, effectiveness, and efficiency of project management resources.

EPMS is a growing team of project management professionals serving as an internal resource pool for both cross-enterprise initiatives and under-served areas of the company who do not otherwise have access to project management capabilities within their own groups. This team will support a broad range of initiatives, serving businesses throughout the Wells Fargo enterprise, and as such offers the opportunity to build a diverse set of project experiences and perspective.

Cross Enterprise Business Project Manager - Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct and independent management of primarily low risk projects, and occasionally moderate risk projects, and/or participates as a member of larger effort(s) to independently manage sub-program component(s) under the purview of a program/project leader.
  • Identifies and determines the need for business SMEs, sponsors, stakeholders, and project roles, and identifies associated responsibilities, alone or in conjunction with peers, direct manager, project team, or program lead.
  • Leads the team to achieve project objectives in accordance with related policies.
  • Identifies and captures project dependencies and interdependencies and manages them throughout the lifecycle.
  • Guides the project with full authority and accountability to ensure alignment of actions/ artifacts with project policy and methodology, and ensures appropriate business deliverables are produced and maintained, and milestones are met.
  • Sets, tracks, and manages project financials (budget, forecast, actuals, variance). Develops business-related tasks for project plan and tracks progress.
  • Provides regular business status reports to ensure management has adequate information to make decisions throughout the life of the project.
  • Communicates frequently to the project team, sponsor, program leader, and stakeholders while maintaining a cooperative, motivated, and successful team.
  • Provides an aggregate view of the implementation, to include risks associated with the project, and impacts to customers, processes, or systems within a close time frame.
  • Incorporates regular and appropriate consultation with business and other stakeholders to validate project trajectory and project performance.
  • Escalates project risks as appropriate, including identifying, assessing, and managing project risks, engaging project team members and risk managers, and ensuring completion and ongoing risk analysis and risk management plan.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
