At Fort Dodge the maintenance mechanic plays a vital role in plant operations. This person will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which includes processing, packing, warehouse and facility operations. He/She will be responsible for learning, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. He/She will also be responsible for instrumentation, calibration, and the troubleshooting of PLC controlled systems. The successful individual will excel in a safety-oriented operation in which an emphasis is placed on machine reliability and process improvement.
