About the Position

Civil Engineer | Orlando, FL

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of professionals in developming transportation planning studies, report documents, and transportation master and action plans 
• Assist in traffic analysis, concept development, and traffic operations studies
• Provide support to designers on CADD based design and concept work.
• Assist with development of support materials for public involvement activities
• Support with authorship of project-related documentation for a range of transportation planning studies, demographic analyses, and multi-modal / transit-oriented projects
• Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities

 Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as ArcGIS and Excel
• Working knowledge of software such as Synchro, MicroStation, and HCS.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Team-oriented with strong capability to work independently
• A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve
• The ability to work on multiple projects.

Qualifications

•  Minimum 0 to 3 years’ experience
•  Experience in Microstation and/or AutoCAD recommended
•  Candidates must have a BS in Civil Engineering
