The group includes Home Lending, Auto, Credit Cards, Retail & Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Consumer Lending Control, and Consumer Lending Shared Services.

The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels.

With the creation of the Cards, Retail and Merchant Services (CRMS) Business Excellence function, the Business Support Consultant 4 positions will be new individual contributor roles within the business responsible for centrally managing Audits, Exams, and Assessments functions across the team and supporting the CRMS leadership team.  

Specifically, these leaders will have responsibility for:

  • Oversee exam, audit, and assessment management strategy and process across LOB.
  • Implement and drive processes for managing multiple Enterprise Testing & Validation assessments, Audits, Risk Assessments, and Regulatory exams simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of exams, audits, and assessments across LOB.
  • Partner with Audit and Assessment teams to identify like efforts to streamline and reduce impact to business partners.
  • Establish and maintain a repository of evidence.
  • Develop and drive aggregated LOB exam status reporting.
  • Partner with BE Issues Management Team to open any new issues resulting from audits, assessments, and exams, and ensure a smooth transition.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience



Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of audit, audit process, and audit plan management experience
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to coordinate processes or projects and compile documentation
  • Ability to develop trending reporting and other internal reporting tools
  • Ability to effectively listen and elicit information
  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to represent the company/business units to internal and external auditors, RECOR, OCC, or other regulatory agencies
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of credit card products, policies, and procedures
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo s Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)
  • Advanced SharePoint skills



Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
