Three different leadership roles: These critical portfolio general management roles will manage their segment, products, benefits and P&Ls end to end.  The new roles will lead the Cash, Value, and Rewards product teams respectively. These portfolio teams will assume P&L ownership and own the strategy for their respective products and consumers. The Cash Product team will manage the mass affluent segment and the Cash portfolio. The Value Product team will manage the mass segment and the non-rewards portfolio. The Rewards Product team will manage the affluent segment and the Rewards suite of products.

Specifically this leader will oversee:

Portfolio growth by leading efforts with the various partners to identify optimization opportunities to improve profitability (acquisition, customer experience and portfolio efforts). Including:

  • Management of their respective product P&Ls
  • Setting the overall goals and business strategy for product targeting, acquisition bonus/intro options to drive desired customers to products
  • Ensuring products are priced based on a risk/return framework based on value delivered
  • Continually tracking marketplace for pricing trends and ensure products priced competitive to market
  • Ensuring compliance with WF policy requiring Business to annually review and certify card fees/pricing
  • Oversight of product messaging and product positioning
  • Setting strategies for programs to drive sales, usage, redemption
  • Development of the strategy and policy for customer retention practices
  • Identifying and aligning on the known dependencies across the teams in support of new product and benefit developments
  • Identify CX gaps within their portfolio and  collaborate with teams on execution
  • Adaptation of operational risk programs to comply with change as defined by the Operational Excellence organization
  • Solve for issues, corrective actions and remediation's that arise on the products with cross functional partners and execution of those issues
  • Own operational risk programs as required under enterprise policy (Major Requirements assigned by Compliance, Business Processes (self-assigned), Controls (self-assigned)


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product development and product management experience
  • 10+ years of management experience
