Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. DMI is seeking a testing coordinator to join the team focused on the eONE strategic initiative. The eONE initiative seeks to build a 'one number' instrument data foundation that is complete, reliable, and aligned to the general ledger. The initiative will also establish the authoritative data source for common data elements between Corporate Finance and Corporate Risk management to support in scope risk and regulatory reporting. eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support risk and finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics that complies with BCBS 239, G&O and the Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards.
Job Description
Primarily responsible for coordinating release testing efforts including test planning, test data management and test execution. Create, maintain and track release level project plans for component testing and UAT testing phases; put together detailed project plan tasks, milestones, dependencies; manage risks, change control, communication, and tollgate monitoring.
Also responsible for identifying test data requirements - coordinate and track the acquisition and loading of the required data into the applicable test environments.
Other responsibilities include testing progress status updates, defect triage, issue tracking, action item logs, follow ups, escalate delays, facilitate solutions to testing and test data related challenges etc.
Primary responsibilities include:
Coordinate release testing efforts including test planning, test data management and test execution.
Review and consolidate all feature level release testing requirements provided by the scrum teams and create a holistic test data procurement plan for each release
Liaison with the test data providers and maintain coordinated test calendars and ensure that the data availability is in-sync with the release plans
Liaison with Technology teams to ensure that data is acquired and loaded as needed for test cycles execution
Identify upstream data changes that may impact testing activities
Create release testing related artifacts and deliverables such as test plan, test schedules, task level project plans, test data procurement tracker etc.
Collaborate with cross functional team members to ensure appropriate milestones, tasks and dependencies are documented in the detailed project plan
Track and monitor the execution of tasks as per the detailed project plan, manage dependencies and risks
Support ongoing testing activities of scrum teams and respond to emerging testing requirements during test cycle execution
Manage defect tracking, triage and resolution process
Create daily stakeholder testing & release status reporting for testing related activities in progress
Escalate issues which could affect the schedule or release success
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality, data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience
1+ year of financial industry experience
2+ years of JIRA experience
2+ years of project coordinator experience
