Job Description
Stability Laboratory Analyst II

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports stability program activities in accordance with FDA and ISO regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Quality environment within the medical device industry and possess a working knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and methodologies.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs routine testing of stability samples according to applicable standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Performs stability analyses by updating databases in Excel and Minitab.
  • Performs technical reviews of raw data to ensure accuracy, and updates reports to implement product shelf-life extensions.
  • Assists in setup of stability studies including staging of materials and development of study plans.
  • Participates in site expansion activities related to the stability program, including maintenance of the documentation and training of junior members.
  • Reviews and updates testing procedures and work instructions for continuous improvements.
  • Assists in laboratory maintenance as needed.
  • Assists in execution of test method validation and out of specification investigations as needed.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree with 2-4 years of related work experience, or
  • AA or Technical Degree with 1-2 years of related work experience

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and interface effectively across functional groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Minitab. Capable of managing large data sets and databases.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experienced in handling biological and chemical materials.
  • Experienced in working in a GMP environment.
