The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit.Â The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels.
We are looking to fill multiple Product Manager positions within Home Lending's Product Strategy and Delivery organization to evolve and improve the customer experience in Home Lending.Â Areas of focus include:
Underwriting â This area focuses on people, process and technology to support Collateral, Credit, Compliance to deliver the Objective Key Results (OKRs) that support Underwriting.
Closing - This area focuses on people, process and technology that support the closing space for home loans. In particular, the focus will be on Settlement and Title.
Processing â This area focuses on people, process and technology that supports the Processing of the loan inclusive of appropriate Disclosures, collection of data and documents needed for Underwriting and communication to the Mortgage customers throughout the process.
Workflow - This area will focus on getting the right task, to the right place, at the right time to help meet customer needs. This includes the focus on people, processes and technology to support development of Task Management, Intelligent Routing, Business Activity / Process Management, Decision and Rules.Â
The Product Manager is responsible for product-market fit â connecting product functionality to customer need.Â This includes managing the product throughout the product life-cycle, gathering customer and business insights, conducting product discovery, working closely with Product Owners to deliver value, and articulating product value propositions to customers.Â It also includes working with cross-functional partners to ensure that revenue, customer satisfaction goals and other outcomes are defined, validated and met in alignment with the business's overall strategy and goals.
The Product Manager is expected to:
Help define business case, objectives and key results, and product-market fit for assigned product
Lead product discovery, including customer insights through primary and secondary research, business analytics, competitive dynamics, technology trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory requirements
Drive envisioning of customer experience in partnership with in-house or third-party design resources, including developing customer journey maps and UI/UX wireframes
Manage cross-functional collaboration across design, development, testing, content, marketing, legal, compliance and financial partners to ensure success of the product from al overall standpoint
Drive product level prioritization of epics and features based on customer and business value, and work with Product Owners to translate them to quarterly goal and priorities
Perform product demos to customers, partners and other stakeholders
Track and report on performance metrics and key performance indicators, leading to success on the overarching objectives and key results
Formulate product positioning, and lead the articulation of product value propositions to customers and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and understood

10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner
Mortgage industry experience
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on an overall organization
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
