Job Description:

Follows up and expedites materials for Pall Cortland and potentially 2 other Pall sites. This individual will work closely with the Buyers & Planner to support confirmation and receipts of materials in time to allow Business Unit to meet On Time Performance, Past Due Backlog and Inventory KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contacts vendors, verify supplies, verify supplier capacity constraints
  • Manage supply requisition and communicates with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates
  • Informs Buyer/Planner of potential delays and presents issues to Materials Manager
  • Gather daily lists of back orders that need to be expedited to satisfy customer requirements
  • Ensures interdepartmental communications for improved coordination of productive operations
  • Monitors project delivery timelines
  • Collaborates with production operations for updates on delivery timelines
  • Compiles, records and reports vendor performance and progress to management

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in supply chain and/or logistics with various supplier and vendor contacts to ensure materials are delivered on time and in proper condition
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to remain organized, manage time and properly engage with suppliers and team members
  • Proficient utilizing MS Office, Email and Excel
  • Previous experience expediting materials
  • Strong communication skills
  • Functional knowledge of supply chain
  • Customer service background and experience preferred
  • Associates degree and a minimum of 2 years of work-related experience in supply chain or logistics
