Deal Desk Analyst
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Contracts, Compliance, and Legal teams on all non-standard or otherwise complex deals through the quote to closure process.
Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for contracting policy and the deal approval process.
Provide systems, legal, pricing, and ROI insight to enable a scalable and efficient turnaround.
Early engagement on deals to provide guidance to sales executives throughout the sales cycle and assist with deal modeling, deal structuring, pricing, quoting, determine relevant contracting vehicle, etc.
Work cross functionally to improve overall operational processes as well as document and communicate current policies, processes, and templates.
Nurture deals through the sales cycle & our approval process in collaboration with Sales, Contracts, Revenue Operations, Customer Master Data, and Finance teams.
Education or Experience (in years):
Bachelor degree with 2 years of related work or experience.
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced sales support or account management role in the Medical Device industry, or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and skills:
Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
Proven ability to function in a collaborative manner.
Ability to influence and position new ideas, initiatives and innovations.
Proficient exercising analytical math skills to calculate and perform analysis.
Ability to follow procedural guidelines and respond to and/or research customer concerns/inquiries with urgency and accuracy.
Ability to work in an office environment.
Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of time.
