Job Description
Transversal Project Manager

Position Overview:

This position will manage transversal projects for the North American R&D Hub.  This position is accountable and responsible for ensuring that Hub projects are completed on time, in budget and following Sanofi policies.  This position will be responsible for measuring the success of each project and ensuring that project priorities are communicated to all relevant stakeholders. 

The position reports into the Site Operations Head, Synthorx.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the timely execution of Synthorx projects including key stakeholder communication.

  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Work transversally within the Synthorx Platform and Sanofi’s Global LMR organization to facilitate the global mandates for Good Research Practices(GRP) by supporting managers, researchers and project teams in the therapeutic areas and core platforms who are performing studies from pre M0 to post M2.  This includes:

  • Working as the lead to onboard/off board team members on systems (Actime, Optime, Benchling, etc.) and to administer and log Lab Notebooks and other Quality Documents.

  • Prepare Quality documents Business Technical Documents (BTD)s, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards related to lab notebooks, specific pharmacology reports, etc. for document management system (i.e. Veeva Vault), meeting formatting needs and following documentation guidelines.

  • Facilitate annual and monthly budget reviews with site project teams and management.

  • Support Synthorx team contract and PO management and Lab Manager inventory tracking.

  • Support the P2P activity with training, continuous improvement, and network support. Route local documents for signature and ensure timely vendor onboarding.

  • Support site Health, Safety and Environmental projects and enforcement.

  • Run the weekly contracts meeting to support the Synthorx continuity of business.

  • Assist Synthorx operations team in implementing new global initiatives and mandates as they roll out.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management-related experience.

  • 5+ years working in a scientific, pharmaceutical, or healthcare setting.

  • 5+ years of experience working with accounting/financial or ERP systems.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Finance, Business or a related field with minimum of 10years or a Masters degree with minimum of 8 years related experience.
