Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. Services include deposits, payments and ATM operations, global fraud and claims, account reconciliation, wire transfers, cash vault and lockbox services, print and image services, unclaimed property processing, legal order processing, estate care, and voice, email, chat, and social media services for consumer and small business customers. Divisions include ATM Strategy and Vendor Solutions; Business Planning and Transformation; Customer Excellence, Controls and Enablement; Customer Service; Fraud and Claims Management; Retail Core Operations; and Workforce Management, Capacity Planning and Productivity Analytics.

CSBBO's Customer Advocacy in Everyday Banking is currently hiring Research/Remediation Analyst 1’s. This position provides support to resolve customer inquiries and complaints. The person in this position is responsible for responding to and/or researching and resolving escalated, high dollar, or high profile inquiries and complaints requiring special handling and that may have been forwarded by management committee members, agencies, and/or business chain of command.
Primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to:
· Perform research to determine appropriate course of action to resolve concerns or complaints
· Conduct investigative steps to fully identify the issues, researching product information, terms, conditions, contracts, etc.
· Partner with others (including customers, merchants, clients, executives, agencies, and regulatory and/or governmental representatives, bankers) to ensure resolution of matters
· Ensure identified risks and/or problems are clearly documented
· Provide final resolution using escalated permissions, similar authorities as first tier supervisor
· Participate in special projects as assigned
Schedules vary based on business need and include working at least one weekend day and scheduled holidays to support the business needs

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of customer contact experience in a financial services environment; or 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services operations, underwriting, or quality assurance

Desired Qualifications

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $41,600 Mid: $57,800 Max: $74,000
SC-Columbia: Min: $37,400 Mid: $52,000 Max: $66,600
VA-Roanoke: Min: $37,400 Mid: $52,000 Max: $66,600
TX-San Antonio: Min: $41,600 Mid: $57,800 Max: $74,000
