About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Automation Engineer...
In this role, you will:
Requirements gathering, design, development, test, release for automation scripts/processes in Python/Ansible
Utilizing Ansible orchestration and Python scripting to simplify high volume and/or high-risk tasks for business partners
Knowledge and experience working with JSON
Knowledge and experience working with RESTful API
Establishing system / data integrations to enhance existing or establish new processes
Mentor and train network operations team in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of automation tools
Partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Ansible, Perl, Python, YAML, Java, or PL-SQL
2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
2+ years of experience with Linux OS environment
2-5+ years of experience with source coding in one or a combination of the following: GitHub, SVN(Subversion), TFVC (Team Foundation Version Control) or TFSGit (Team Foundation Server
Experience with creating and or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teamsÂ
Desired Qualifications:
Agile methodology experience
Knowledge/Skills/Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
BS/BA degree or higher in information technology or equivalent work experience accepted
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skill
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Ability to manage initiatives including: detailed planning, process management, and documentation
Experience in process Improvement (6 Sigma), solution implementation, and change management
