Application Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated application scientist to join the fast-paced Agilent Mass Spectrometry Division software product marketing team. This is your opportunity to join the team that brings differentiated MS products and workflow solutions to our customers to increase their productivity. As a member of this high-performing team, you will be responsible for application support of integrated software on GC/MS and LC/MS. You will work closely with our worldwide R&D, marketing, and field organization to serve customers’ needs.

You will have the responsibilities to

* Conduct application validation of the integrated AI software with MassHunter software
* Understand customers’ workflows and test the workflows in-house
* Provide feedback on software requirements and performance characteristics
* Work closely with R&D to develop features that fulfill workflow needs
* Work closely with customers to ensure the expected performance of integrated software
* Support strategic customers and pilot programs
* Create marketing collaterals and participate outbound marketing activity

* Minimum bachelor degree, Master or Ph.D degree is highly preferred
* 3-5 years’ experience of mass spectrometry instrumentation (GC/MS, LC/MS), applications and software
* Demonstrated past success of customer engagement and working collaboratively across the organizations
* Ability to prioritize business goals and align to timelines
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and ability to connect with global teams
