Resolution Bioscience, now a part of Agilent, is redefining cancer patient care by providing genomic analysis using non-invasive liquid biopsy methods. We are seeking a Cancer Bioinformatics Scientist (Informatics Scientist) who will analyze, review, and summarize circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) data from cancer patients as part of our bioinformatics group. Resolution Bioscience is a global leader in the development of non-invasive liquid biopsy technologies and companion diagnostics. We create innovative tests that transition rapidly from development to clinical implementation for both retrospective and prospective patient testing. Our team is serious about improving the quality of cancer patient care in a science-first, collegial atmosphere. Responsibilities: * Analyze, review, and summarize platform data with a cancer biology mindset * Support data processing pipeline and product development * Respond to analysis requests from clients in industry and academia * Ensure data delivered to clients is of the highest quality * Apply bioinformatics, statistical, or machine learning approaches to our platform data for insight to cancer biology and quality control * Other duties as assigned Required Skills: * * PhD in bioinformatics, genomics or closely related field * Professional experience in bioinformatics, genomics or closely related field * Fluency in Python or R * Fluency scripting in Linux * Experience with bioinformatic analysis and annotation of variants About Agilent Benefits: * Innovative and fun work environment * Competitive salary * Healthcare benefits * Flexible time off * Paid volunteer days * 401K & Company Match * Employee Referral Bonus * Training Opportunities Agilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
