C Spire is a rapidly growing technology partner serving small to large enterprises in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. The company’s Enterprise practice is a Value Added Reseller and Channel Partner for industry leading OEM partners, such as Cisco and Dell, providing solutions architecture, design and implementation for enterprise business and SLED clients
Responsible for strategic planning and execution of the Enterprise practice, including owning P&L responsibility, driving revenue to goal and managing expenses.
Manage partner relationships.
Manage end-to-end teams from sales, to design, implementation and CX ownership. Recruiting, hiring and retaining of sales, sales operations, and engineering staff.
Direct and support the consistent implementation of company initiatives. Serve as a functional subject matter expert, business lead and the primary liaison for acquisition integration efforts
Work with sales directors on sales planning, including updates to quotas and comp plans, headcount, and sales plan. Ensure compensation plans are aligned with compensation philosophy and organization goals.
Design, implement, and manage sales processes, establishing a high level of quality, accuracy, and process consistency. Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement; work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Manage sales teams, motivating team to achieve goals, create and manage sales training programs.
Monitor market and competitive landscape. Work with marketing department to position services in the market.
Own the creation, accuracy, and efficient distribution of sales metrics, reports and other sales related business intelligence essential to the organization; recommend revision to existing reports, and/or assist in the develop of new reporting tools as needed
Communicate and foster relationships with clients, monitoring customer activity and customer satisfaction.
Manage and lead a sales operations team, including hiring, development, and achievement of team and individual goals.
Administer, manage, and report on sales forecast; drive adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards within the sales organization; ensure forecasting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within the company
Develop standards and processes for sales quotas and incentive plans to enable a high-performing sales team. Facilitate an organization of continuous process improvement
Continuously optimize enabling technologies, including Salesforce, ServiceNow and QuoteWerks to raise the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team.
Oversee delivery of Professional Services ensuring effectiveness and productivity.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7+ years with demonstrated related business practice area experience required
Outstanding industry relationships
Ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external partners
Experience with channel and OEM partners (Cisco, Dell Technologies, VMware)
Proven expertise in sales automation tools, metrics, process, and productivity
Strong experience partnering with sales leadership to achieve sales goals
Demonstrated proficiency managing reporting and analytically rigorous initiatives
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
