The position requires a candidate who is eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment while taking ownership and accountability of their work. The primary responsibility for this position is to conduct market and product line analysis for the Agilent Chemistries and Supplies Division to ensure data-driven decision making and promote operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

*

Lead and partner with cross-functions to understand and solve complex business and process problems
*

Analyze market and sales data to drive decisions and recommendations for business growth
*

Support product manager onboarding and coaching on pricing and various business tools (e.g, SAP, Spotfire, PartAdd, Discounts, Profitability etc.), and develop training materials as needed
*

Lead or participate in the annual pricing rounds
*

Provide business reporting to support the Chemistries and Supplies Division
*

Work with stakeholders remotely in multiple time-zones to identify and understand business requirements and deliverables
*

Challenge the status quo by providing innovative vision, governance and strategy, and driving actionable solutions
*

Identify continuous improvement opportunities and willing to lead for operational efficiency, profitability and possibilities of process/tool automation

Qualifications

*

8+ years of relevant experience /Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in business, analytical or scientific fields
*

5+ years of data management and analytics, business operations experience with strong domain knowledge including SAP-ECC system
*

Expert in data and database management using Microsoft Excel and Access
*

Exceptional business acumen and financial and analytical skills
*

Effective at collaboration with multiple functions and levels of the organization
*

Strong attention to accuracy, details and deadlines
*

Acts as a knowledge resource with ability to train and mentor individuals
*

Ability to work and support cross-functional global teams

Preferred Qualifications

*

Experience in data mining and predictive modeling for market dynamics and business solutions
*

Experience in programming using Excel Macro and Power Apps
*

Six Sigma Green Belt or above
