Electrical Engineering -Intern

In the Wilmington site Agilent manufactures Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments for the chemical analysis market. We are located midway between Baltimore and Philadelphia; just a 45 minute drive south from Philadelphia.

*This is an on-site internship in Wilmington, Delaware.

*Start Date: September 19th, 2022

*End Date: March 31st, 2023

The successful candidate will be a member of a highly skilled, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering team working on Agilent's industry leading Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) instrument. The team's activities focus on improving existing processes and products, on developing manufacturing processes to introduce new products to market quickly, and on improving overall product quality. The internship will contribute in the following areas:

* Product Quality Processes
* CAD support for manufacturing projects
* Test Design Improvements
* New Part Qualifications
* New technology Research
* Process Optimization
* 6-Sigma experimentation and process development
* Process Documentation

To be considered for this role you must:

* Be currently enrolled in an electrical engineering program at an accredited University.
* Be available to work 20+ hours a week.

The ideal candidate will also display the following skills:

* Teamwork skills and ability to collaborate
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* High initiative and self motivation
* Electrical schematics, components, and PCA fundamentals
* Good computer skills including Excel, programming, design, and technical searches
* Desire for a hands-on working environment
