Resolution Bioscience, now a part of Agilent, is redefining cancer patient care by providing genomic analysis of the disease using noninvasive liquid biopsy methods. We are seeking a Principal Computational Biologist who will help create and implement novel software tools for analyzing circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from cancer patients. Resolution Bioscience is a global leader in the development of noninvasive liquid biopsy technologies and companion diagnostics. We create innovative tests that transition rapidly from development to clinical implementation. Our team is serious about improving the quality of cancer patient care in a science-first, collegial atmosphere.

This position can be performed anywhere in the US

The salary range for this position may differ based on your actual work location. For CO, the salary range is 120,806.00 and max 196,625.00.

What you will be doing:

  • Design algorithms to detect cancer mutations with high sensitivity and specificity, using data from our proprietary targeted sequencing platform.
  • As a senior member of the bioinformatics team, mentor and collaborate with other members of the group, and advise on bioinformatics issues across the company.
  • Work cross-functionally with R-D and software teams to develop and productionize novel methods.
  • Optimize the design and performance of our platform.
