Our work depends on Network Engineer Intermediate joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER INTERMEDIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACTAnalyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop network requirements specificationsGuides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studiesAnalyzes network requirements and capacity and leads design and development activitiesProvides technical leadership for the integration of network requirements, design, and technologyIncorporates new network plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsDevelops network architecture and network design documentationGuides network development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of network engineering management plans and network integration and test plansDesigns and performs integration of new technologies into local and wide area networksProvides advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problemsManages the transition and migration of networks and development of network addressing schemesInteracts with the Government regarding Network Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflictsUltimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Network Engineering area of responsibilityCommunicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education:Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experienceRequired Skillset:Assist with research and implementation of enterprise system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectivesTroubleshoot and resolve issues with network infrastructure and/or componentsEvaluate and monitor health and performance of the network including hardware and management softwareAssist with development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementationUS Army cryptographic device experience, preferred.Security Clearance Level: TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractIAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalentRequired Computing Environment Certification: CCNA Location: On Customer SiteAdditional:Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contractPosition may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activityTravel may be required to support the missionGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#GDITPriority #GDITINSCOM #I2TS4 #GDITArmy Contact Information
