Undergrad Major: Music
Claim To Fame:
Being that im am apart of the marching band at Alabama State I get looked at as a star along ewith my band mates but honestly I believe the before college, during college, and after college I will always claim to fame not because of the marching band but because of my personality. I a easy going person who the majority of people can get along with. When around me you can not help but to put smile on your face. My personality is my claim to fame.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment has to be Turkey DAy Classic. The fall of 2003 semester I was a incoming freshman but also a "crab" (currently recruited active bandsman)in the marching band. while crabing the band my number one goal was to cross the band. In order to cross the band you would have to march the entire football season and after you cross the field on Turkey Day Classic you are offically a Mighty Marching Hornet. It sounds easy but believe me it was not! I marched the entire fooball season without missing practice or performance. So when November 27th came around I felt as if I earned every little bit of glory. Well this was a cold and rainy day, but I was still focused on making it across the field on halftime and nothing was going to stop me. when the clock striked zero I may have been the first to get up and go. the field was very muddy and slippery and it was very hard to position yourself ,but I was detrmined. I marched, played, and danced my heart out and when I got to the other side of the field I realized that the price of glory is high. This is my most memorable experience in college.
