They need to do something other than entertainment news, videos and the same old movies. We have lots of talented programmers. They should put some effort into tapping into that well. I don't even watch a few shows on it.

It sucks point blank. I'm really dissapointed. I am soo tired of rap and the bs videos that go along with it. Any body with common sense knows that isn't talent so why promote garbage. They don't wven play the good hip hop like common and lupe the people who actually have something worth listening to.

The teens keep it alive but they don't join sites such as this to provide their input. BET would be nothing without the teen audience so parents, make them turn it off once in a while.

I think BET which is a channel for us and by us is one of the worst degrading channels on t.v. As much of the world that has us stereotyped in a negative way and then we put it on the only black t.v. station? I mean they fired Tavis Smiley, Jacque Reid is no longer there.
BET music where they have all those mostly raunchy, nasty, negative ignorant acts that kids look up to, where are the parents?
Even the black male host was in a s*x scene with one of the Hilton daughters (they are doing a new radio show), I saw that channel surfing and commented to myself. I mean doing reality t.v. like that drunk and hosting show for BET, where is the contract requirements for a positive image?
I saw the show where Ray J gave out his number and all those teen girls there?
anyway, I can go on all day about BET.
There are a few good shows from time to time when i want to see some of us in the positive and Gospel Inspirations on a Sunday.
Just my 2cents worth.
