Top 10 Reason Young People Should Get Out and Vote
Posted By: on August 15, 2014

Hello fellow HBCU Connectors,

My name is Jessica Smith, second-year law student at Howard University School of Law, and I am looking to spread the word to black students about this year's November elections. Although we are not voting on a President, and many people may think that is important, we still have people who are making decisions for the state, the federal government, and are judges sitting on the bench.

With the recent happenings in Missouri, I think it's important that we get more young people out to the polls as a way to show that we are not only listening, but we are also not going to stand for a lack of representation. I have posted below the link to my buzz feed article, and I'm trying to reach my fellow HBCU attendees. If you could post, or repost this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Jessica N. Smith
