What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?: With the many activities and contributions as Campus Queen, the most Memorable one for me was the "Epilepsy Awareness." I realize there are many people in general who are not aware of the severity of epilepsy, or, even what the condition really is. November is designated as Epilepsy Awareness Month, and this gave me the opportunity to share with students the impact this condition has on a person's life and the many ways we can support our loved ones, or anyone for that matter who has the challenge in living with epilepsy. Information was disseminated by passing out flyers and having an open forum. Now, I feel most students are more cognizant as to what epilepsy is, the causes and treatments, and how to recognize, respond or help when a person is having an epileptic seizure.
