Back to School Care Packages College Students Will Love
Posted By: Kara Masterson on September 26, 2019

As your favorite student returns to college for a new year, you can help him or her to feel loved by sending a customized care package. There are companies that create a variety of care packages that you can order online to have mailed to a student’s residence hall or apartment. Imagine how delighted a homesick college student will be after opening your care package. Here are some of the care packages that are available.

Gift Cards

Use an online map to determine what fast-food restaurants are near your child’s college so that you can order a gift card. This way a college student won’t need to carry cash while walking around the neighborhood. You can also order gift cards for supermarkets or department stores so that a college student can buy the other things required while at school.

Home Spa Items

After moving into a residence hall and registering for classes, your favorite college student will be exhausted and stressed. When a home spa care package arrives, the student will have the items needed for a relaxing shower or bath, including fragrant soap and moisturizing lotion. Add a new pair of soft pajamas and bedroom slippers so that a college student can have a relaxing first evening while in college.

New Clothing

College students need new clothing for school, and you can surprise your favorite student with a comfyrasta zip-up hoodie and pajamas embellished with the college’s name or logo. Additional great garments include soft cotton T-shirts and shorts that a student can wear while hanging out with friends. For cooler days, add a pair of fleece pants in the new jogger style that all of the most fashion savvy college students want to own.

Tasty Cookies

Send your child a care package filled with tasty homemade cookies. Remember the cookies that you used to make with your child while he or she was in elementary school, and carefully wrap the oatmeal raisin, peanut butter or chocolate chip cookies in plastic before placing the items in a box for fast shipment to your child’s new address. In addition, add a package of cocoa mix packets along with a new mug so that a college student can have a complete snack.

School Supplies

Make life easier for your college student by sending a box filled with school supplies. College students need pens, binders, pencils and a lot of paper for taking notes along with completing assignments. Make it fun for your student by adding some traditional school supplies such as a box of crayons, colorful markers and a box of erasers.

How to Ship Care Packages

There are multiple ways to ship care packages to students, so you can choose a slow and inexpensive method or a faster and more expensive method.
