More than 800 faculty and staff teach and work at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. The University itself is growing both in its student population and in its buildings and facilities. With an enrollment of more than 6,300 students, Belmont has expanded its campus in the last decade with the addition of the Beaman Student Life Center/ Curb Event Center/ Maddox Grand Atrium complex as well as through the construction of the Gordon E. Inman Center and McWhorter Hall along with new on-campus housing. The Baskin Center is currently under construction and will be the home of the new College of Law, which welcomed its first class in August 2011.
