The Early Childhood Education Centers at Oakton College are seeking Qualified Substitute Teachers
Job Requirements:
Minimum-
Bachelor degree in ECE preferred or
Associate degree in ECE or
Associate degree in related fi eld with 35 hours of ECE credits
Three (3) years ECE classroom teaching experience with children 2-5 years of age
First Aid/CPR Certification
Meets all ECE Essential Functions
Meet DCFS Background Check and Fingerprinting requirements
Qualifications for Substitute Assistant Teacher
Minimum-
60 semester hours of college credit with 12 in ECE and one semester (20 hours) experience or
One year experience with young children, 30 hours of college credit with 12 in ECE or
An ECE credential recognized by DCFS and NAEYC
First Aid/CPR Certification
Meets all ECE Essential Functions
Meet DCFS Background Check and Fingerprinting requirements
