Overview
ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB is currently looking to hire a Project Accountant to join our Watertown Finance team. This position is hybrid out of our Watertown, MA office.
Responsibilities
Preparation and processing of client invoices including agency workbooks; cover letters, progress reports
Maintaining records of billing terms as necessary; including rate tables
Maintain certain client portal access for invoice uploads
Review and processing of subconsultants invoicing relative to project requirements
Accounts receivable collection assistance
Assistance with research & resolution of client questions related to invoicing and payments
Skills and Abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to think critically and solve problems
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or equivalent experience
0-4 years of related accounting, finance, billing, or equivalent experience (preferably within the AEC industry)
Knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint or other similar financial applications a plus
Our best estimate of the hourly pay for this position located in Watertown, MA is $27.00-$37.00. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
