Overview
ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB’s Orlando, Florida office is looking for a Receptionist to provide a variety of services within the office.
Hiring Salary Range - $19/hr. - $23/hr. However, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Greet visitors and makes a positive first impression of VHB. Directs visitors through the check-in process. Informs employees of the visitor’s arrival. Assists and directs visitors to appropriate meeting location.
Answers and transfers phone calls. Relays messages as needed.
Operates office equipment (e.g., telephone, computer, copier). Forwards messages to appropriate employee or department.
Schedules conference rooms and arranges for meeting room use.
Assists with building management and facilities tasks, which may include organizing and cleaning office space, managing kitchen and breakroom inventory, office supply procurement, and other office services.
Accepts and tracks packages and other deliveries to the office.
Processes and distributes mail.
Assists facilities and administrative staff as needed.
Maintains messages and visitor records.
Performs occasional administrative duties (e.g., data entry, filing, photocopying).
Participates in professional and personal development aligned with career goals.
Assists with new employee preparation and onboarding.
Provide administrative support to office personnel.
May assist project managers, department managers, and/or other senior management with various administrative duties.
May coordinate and manage travel arrangements for senior leaders.
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service abilities with an emphasis on timely response.
Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with coworkers.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented.
Qualifications
0-2 years of related experience in a professional office setting.
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM in office.
Licensed Notary preferred, but not required
