<div id="details-info" class="tab-pane active fr-view" style="margin:2px"> <dl> <dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0">The purpose of this class is to provide administrative management and leadership for assigned departments with other divisional administrators and in a manner consistent with established College policies and procedures.</p></dd> <dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt> <dd><p>Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland; Master’s degree in nursing with 4 years of full-time teaching experience in an accredited nursing program. </p></dd> <dt><h2>Class Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: 7.3px; margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li><span style="color: inherit;">Provide the day-to-day management of the program, including supervision of full-time, adjunct faculty and staff.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Work collaboratively to achieve departmental, divisional and/or institutional initiatives.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Interview, hire and evaluate assigned staff.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Represent the program, school and the College with students, parents, professional organizations, and other relevant constituencies.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Participate in budget processes.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Oversees classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction using a variety of teaching strategies to achieve learning objectives. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit;">Evaluates student achievement on a regular basis using valid assessment techniques. </span>Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive. There will be other duties as assigned.</li></ol></dd> <dt><h2>Position Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><ol style="margin-left: -0.25in; margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><span style="color: inherit">Provide administrative leadership for and management of the program.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Support the development, coordination, and evaluation of program curriculum.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Develop, maintain, comply with, and conduct a periodic review of written agreements with cooperating agencies.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Coordinate the scheduling of faculty, courses, and clinical facilities.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the program’s accreditation.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Participate as an active member of the SHP leadership team.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Conduct formal and informal counseling of students and faculty. </span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Develop methods of program evaluation to ensure ongoing effectiveness through outcomes assessment and corresponding revisions as needed.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Establish goals and objectives for operations consistent with CCBC’s mission.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit">Monitor compliance with policies and procedures. </span></li><li>Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive.
