McGraw-Hill Launches Employee Group for a Digital Age.
The world has gone digital, and so has McGraw-Hill. In fact, two-thirds of our revenues come from digital products, services and other nontraditional sources. So in our search for talent, there is a premium on digital proficiency.
There wouldn't be Careers at McGraw-Hill 2.0 without the growing ranks of McGraw-Hill employees who embrace the digital world and develop new content, products, and tools for students, teachers, investors, consumers, businesses, and industry professionals. These digital employees drive our participation in events such as Social Media Week and are the foundation of a new digital employee organization at McGraw-Hill called LEAD: "Learning, Empowering and Accelerating Digital."
LEAD aims to create a digital culture that inspires employees to form connections, share knowledge and ideas, and contribute to the digital growth of our company. It promises to be a great source of networking, sharing of best practices, and innovation. Over 600 employees attended the LEAD launch event last week.
To learn more about digital at McGraw-Hill, visit our Careers blog, The Virtual Cooler, for a Q&A with Bruce Schachne, who is VP of Market Development for Standard & Poor's and one of the driving forces behind the creation of LEAD. The Cooler will also be hosting a LIVE CHAT on March 1, from 2-4 pm EST where you can ask Qs and chat with recruiters from each of our businesses in real-time. Be sure to check it out!
