Welcome to the week-long virtual competition for HBCU students with little or no advanced coding experience, the 2022 HBCU Housing Hackathon powered by Zillow. Zillow will be awarding more than $90,000 in cash and prizes to the teams that develop and pitch the best solution that aligns with Zillow's mission to help consumers overcome obstacles in their journey to find a home. How It Works Create Your Team: Form your 2-4 student team and register by 11:59pm ET on September 6, 2022 Attend Opening Day: Attend the virtual Opening Day on September 9 to learn all the details of the coding challenge and judging criteria. Connect With Your Team: Start brainstorming ideas, meet with mentors from Zillow for assistance, and work through your ideas. Submit Your Project and Compete For A Spot In the Final Pitch Round: Semi-final judging will determine who advances to the final pitch round where the top 3 teams will win the competition.
