The Verizon adfellows program is currently accepting applications for its August 2024 program. HBCUConnect is an official partner of the program and we are looking for candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in the fields of marketing, advertising, public relations, and graphic design. This program gives you the opportunity you deserve to break into the advertising industry while increasing diversity, equity and inclusion in the advertising market. This is a nine-month paid fellowship and you will rotate around agencies and brands across New York City to sample a variety of roles that will help you find your calling. At the end of the program eligible participants have the opportunity to be considered for open roles with participating companies. To date, 92% of our graduates have been hired full-time upon graduation. Who are we looking for: We accept all who are interested in the field of marketing, advertising, public relations, and graphic design. We accept all majors; you do not have to have majored in the previous mentioned areas to apply, be interviewed, and be accepted. We value passionate individuals who have expressed interest, desire, and drive to excel. Have a Bachelor’s Degree at the time of the program start date in August of 2024 Have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA while in college Be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
