This is the largest HBCU fundraiser in history, created to address the student loan debt crisis impacting HBCU students across the country.

Black bachelor’s degree holders carry an average of $52,000 in student loan debt.
This debt burden often forces Black college graduates to delay major life milestones like having children, getting married, and buying a home.

To confront this crisis, Student Freedom Initiative and Live Nation Urban have come together to create HBCU AWARE FEST.
All proceeds from the event will go toward addressing the student loan debt crisis affecting HBCU students across the country.
