I am working with Union Elementary School District just outside of Phoenix, Arizona, and they are hiring for the upcoming school year. We are hosting a virtual hiring event with their team on September 2nd so you can meet them directly and learn more. You are getting this either because you are out West already, or because your background is working with kids, families or students — even if "teacher" is not the title on your resume. Small enough that one committed person is visible in the building, big enough to have real resources behind you. One thing to be clear about: these are on-site roles in the Phoenix area. If you are in the Valley this is a short conversation, and if you are elsewhere in the Southwest it is a real one worth having. Arizona also has some of the more flexible certification pathways in the country for people who already hold a degree. If you have the subject-matter background but not the credential yet, come to the event and ask their team directly what that path looks like — that is exactly the kind of question this format is for.
