Howard University Alum Karen S. Carter Makes History as First Black Woman CEO of Major U.S. Chemical Company

Karen S. Carter, a proud graduate of Howard University, is set to make history as she assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer at Dow, one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers and a Fortune 500 company. Effective July 1, Carter will become the first Black woman to lead a major U.S. chemical company, marking a significant milestone in corporate America.
