HBCU Students - Apply for an Internship with The FDIC!
The FDIC is widely recognized as a premier financial regulatory agency and was recently named the “Best Place to Work” among mid-sized Federal Government agencies. The Financial Management Scholars Program (FMSP) is a paid internship program. It provides highly-qualified college students majoring in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, and related fields with hands-on experience evaluating bank operations, business planning, risk management strategies, and consumer protection practices during a period in which banks are still recovering from the recent financial crisis.

Financial Management Scholar (Student Internship)
The FDIC is widely recognized as a premier financial regulatory agency and was recently named the “Best Place to Work” among mid-sized Federal Government agencies. The Financial Management Scholars Program (FMSP) is a paid internship program. It provides highly-qualified college students majoring in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, and related fields with hands-on experience evaluating bank operations, business planning, risk management strategies, and consumer protection practices during a period in which banks are still recovering from the recent financial crisis. Program participants will attend a one-week orientation session in Washington, DC, followed by nine weeks of on-the-job training in one of the FDIC’s field offices (over 40 internship locations are available nationwide).
