Registration Specialist, PRN
In your pivotal role as PRN Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for the onsite registration, arrival processes, discharge and insurance validation, with occasional guidance. You also will resolve issues related to registration, billing, insurance, and payment of accounts. In this PRN role, you will work AS NEEDED to cover vacations, sick days, and unexpected call-ins. Flexibility is a MUST! We are a 24/7/365 operation, so help is needed round the clock! PRN will pay $20/hr with no shift differentials and no benefits!

High School Diploma or GED
2 years of relevant
Performs all assigned area functions per departmental guidelines.
Performs administrative functions to ensure the department operates according to policies, procedures and protocols.
Ensures that all cases are entered accurately and thoroughly into the admissions, discharge, transfer and billing system.
Provides customer service and status updates in waiting room, in-room, and prior to patient departure.
Requests payment and provides payment plan information for patient account balances when necessary.
