Production Technician - 2nd Shift
Production Technician 2nd Shift

Location: Hague Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46256
Pay: $17.00/hr.
Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30pm 11:00pm
**Training will be on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift for 16 weeks**

This product portfolio offers people with diabetes innovative products, services and comprehensive solutions for convenient, efficient and effective diabetes management. These products include blood glucose meters, insulin delivery devices, lancing devices and data management systems.

Job Description:
Has a key responsibility in supporting (diabetic testing strips) packaging
Rework 2,000 5,000 pieces in a day
Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the packaging of testing strips
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions
Assisting with packaging and labeling vials and finished products
Operating and monitoring machinery and performing cleaning of machine as needed
Loading boxes, vials, and pamphlets into machines to be packaged and distributed with products
Lift and carry products and materials to QC area, recycling, trash or other areas
Use electronic pallet jack to move material and product on pallets for other areas and place in a staging area, preparing and shrink-wrapping pallets for shipment
Audit the packaged material
Performing quality control measures on incoming components
Inspect all parts, orders, and equipment for quality/safety
Individual responsibility for personal and area safety
Build boxes for product and performs final close of boxes which includes scanning for content
Transporting pallets of products from line 10 or line 12 areas to kanban area

Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Driver's License

Education:
High School or GED required
Military experience and/or an Associate's Degree Preferred
